Job Description
PalmPay is looking for a Risk & Credit Review Specialist to evaluate and monitor credit risks associated with our financial products in Uganda. The successful candidate will ensure that credit applications are processed according to internal policies and regulatory standards while maintaining portfolio health.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Review and assess credit applications for accuracy and compliance with credit policies.
- Perform detailed financial analysis to determine the creditworthiness of applicants.
- Monitor the performance of the loan portfolio to identify trends, risks, and potential delinquencies.
- Ensure all credit review activities adhere to internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive credit risk reports and provide actionable recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with the credit operations and collections teams to manage risk exposure.
- Periodically audit credit files and risk assessment procedures to ensure data integrity.
