Job Description
The Risk & Compliance Manager will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and addressing risks that could impact the company’s operations, financial performance, legal standing, or reputation. This role involves regular risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and engaging with UK clients and internal departments. Reporting directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance, the manager will also train staff on risk awareness, manage incident responses, and implement continuous improvements to the risk management framework.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats
Analyze data and trends to detect organizational vulnerabilities
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices
Prepare and present risk reports to senior management
Conduct risk management training and awareness sessions for staff
Investigate incidents and develop action plans for resolution
Collaborate with UK clients to tailor risk solutions to their needs
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Work closely with the wider risk and compliance team
Continuously enhance risk management tools and processes
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in risk management, preferably in a BPO setting
Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and compliance standards
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency with risk management software
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Risk Management or a related discipline
Professional certification such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM)
Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery planning
Previous experience working with UK financial clients
