Job Description
Reporting to the HR Manager: Reward & Analytics, the Reward Specialist will be responsible for managing incentive programs, performing advanced data analysis, coordinating payroll-related activities, and supporting the company’s reward strategy. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving accuracy, insight, and strategic alignment in HR reporting and compensation planning. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in both hands-on and strategic work, with involvement in project management and team leadership.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Incentive Scheme Management:Manage and calculate monthly/quarterly bonuses for Operations Management, ensuring alignment with company policy.
Data Analysis & Reconciliations:Conduct reconciliations, analyze incentive trends, and support financial audits and internal reporting.
HR Metrics & Reporting:Compile, analyze, and present HR statistics to support decision-making.
Payroll Coordination:Validate payroll inputs for incentives, allowances, and rewards. Work closely with payroll to ensure seamless execution.
Feasibility & Costing Studies:Conduct financial modeling and feasibility analysis for HR projects and reward systems.
Team Supervision:Oversee and support a small team, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
Project Participation:Contribute to or lead special projects related to reward strategies or HR analytics.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Advanced Diploma in HR, Finance, or related field
Experience and Skills:
Proven experience in HR, particularly in payroll, compensation/reward, and HR analytics
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Experience with payroll systems is highly advantageous
An inquisitive and solution-oriented mindset
