Job Description
The position entails supervising store operations, managing inventory and supply chains, implementing operational policies, and ensuring compliance with standards. The Manager will develop business opportunities, lead promotional campaigns, and oversee customer engagement strategies to deliver personalized shopping experiences. The role also requires financial oversight, including monitoring sales KPIs, managing budgets, controlling costs, and recommending product pricing and mix adjustments.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Retail & Operational Management
Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
Manage inventory control, stock levels, and supply chain coordination.
Supervise staff performance, scheduling, and adherence to service standards.
Implement health, safety, and hygiene requirements.
Business Development & Sales Growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
Develop and execute strategies to grow sales, customer base, and market share.
Conduct competitor analysis and recommend market initiatives.
Collaborate with marketing on promotions and product launches.
Customer Engagement & Experience
Lead initiatives to deliver premium, personalized customer service.
Handle escalated customer issues and complaints.
Build relationships with high-value clients and loyalty members.
Collect and analyze customer feedback for service improvement.
Financial & Performance Management
Track daily sales performance and KPIs.
Manage budgets, expenses, and cost control.
Recommend pricing strategies and product mix optimization.
Provide performance updates to management.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
4–6 years’ experience in retail operations, preferably in cosmetics, beauty, or lifestyle products.
Proven track record in sales growth and business development.
Experience in customer engagement and service improvement.
Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, POS systems, and inventory management tools.
Fragrance industry knowledge is an added advantage.
