Job Description
As the Restaurant Manager of our wellness-exclusive restaurant, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service, and maintaining the restaurant's commitment to promoting well-being through dining. You will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring a team of professionals to create a serene and welcoming atmosphere that aligns with our wellness philosophy.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant staff, ensuring they provide excellent service and embody the wellness-focused ethos of the restaurant.
Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest enjoys a memorable and rejuvenating dining experience while addressing their individual wellness needs and preferences.
Operations Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including reservations, table assignments, and staff scheduling to maintain an efficient and harmonious environment.
Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards for food and beverage quality, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented in alignment with the wellness philosophy.
Inventory and Supply Management: Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost control to optimize restaurant profitability while minimizing waste.
Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety standards to guarantee the well-being of both guests and staff.
Marketing and Promotion: Work with the marketing team to develop and execute wellness-centric marketing strategies to attract and retain clientele.
Financial Management: Monitor and manage the restaurant's budget, revenue, and expenses to ensure profitability.
Customer Feedback: Solicit and act on customer feedback to continuously improve the restaurant's offerings and service.
Events and Special Services: Plan and oversee wellness-related events, special menus, and collaborations with wellness professionals.
Qualifications and Competencies
Qualifications:
Previous experience in restaurant management, preferably in a wellness or health-focused establishment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and inspire a diverse team.
A deep understanding of wellness and nutrition principles.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to meet financial targets and control costs.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Certification in food safety and relevant industry training is a plus.
