The Relationship Officer is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers of Letshego, a leading financial services provider in Africa.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Business Growth

  • Monitoring and managing portfolio

  • Building customer relationship

  • Recovery of defaulted loans

  • Identifying and acquiring new customers through referrals, networking and direct sales

  • Providing financial solutions to customers based on their needs and goals

  • Conducting regular follow-ups and visits to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

  • Collecting and analyzing customer feedback and market trends to improve service delivery

  • Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure compliance, risk management and operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • The applicant must hold a University degree preferably in Business related discipline.

  • Relevant professional qualifications in Microfinance, Banking or Finance.

  • Relevant credit experience is an added advantage.

  • Sound understanding of Credit risk management and customer service.

  • Knowledge of the core banking system.
