Job Description
The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for managing all quality control procedures across raw materials, in-process work, and finished smartphones. Key responsibilities include designing inspection systems, analyzing quality data with SPC methods, conducting root cause investigations, and leading corrective and preventive actions. The role also involves supplier quality evaluations, audits, calibration of measuring instruments, and training staff on quality best practices. The supervisor will collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams to resolve quality issues, ensure compliance with ISO and other standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Design and implement QC procedures for smartphone manufacturing.
Conduct inspections and testing on raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) to evaluate data and identify trends.
Lead root cause analysis of quality issues; develop corrective/preventive actions.
Assess supplier quality and ensure compliance with standards.
Maintain accurate QC records, inspection logs, and audit findings.
Conduct internal/external audits to verify adherence to standards.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Train staff on quality standards, procedures, and continuous improvement practices.
Manage calibration of all measuring tools and QC equipment.
Drive culture of continuous improvement in product quality and efficiency.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing, preferably in electronics (smartphones, TVs, fridges, or precision manufacturing).
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of ISO standards, Six Sigma, Lean, and quality auditing techniques.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Minitab, Excel, SPC software).
Strong root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving skills.
Excellent documentation, communication, and leadership abilities.
Experience in supplier quality management and regulatory audits.
Ability to foster teamwork and drive continuous improvement culture.
