Job Description
Ensure procurement activities (particularly those dealing with public officials) comply with Company code of conduct, C&P guide to conduct, rules, procedures, applicable laws and regulation and promote Company's compliance policy awareness through interactions with contractors/suppliers
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee and closely follow up the whole supply chain flow of Drilling & Wells materials from purchase till payment
Launch Request for Quotation (RFQ) / Call for Tenders (CFT) as necessary to procure materials/services in the best interest of the Company and in compliance with all regulations as well as Company’s procedures.
Ensure procurement activities (particularly those dealing with public officials) comply with Company code of conduct, C&P guide to conduct, rules, procedures, applicable laws and regulation and promote Company's compliance policy awareness through interactions with contractors/suppliers
Contribute to the National Content development through engagements with suppliers/contractors
Follow up and clarify damages and discrepancies of received items in co-ordination with end-users, warehouse personnel and freight forwarder
Organize the cargo import/export planning, use of chartered or scheduled vessels as appropriate for Company transport strategy, and ensure that the duet with métier partners, procurement, logistics, warehouse, etc performed well
Work closely with Logistics and Drilling & Wells contract owners for consolidation of cargoes and to choose the right transport mode
To have regular communication and as necessary participate in meetings with the concerned authorities for import/export and clearance matters
Keep informed of changing laws, regulations and decrees governing the import/export, customs, freight forwarding.
Be the relay of CATMAN correspondents for HQ, and source for proposals of improvement of stock control and freight forwarding/transit functions
Organize SQM (Service Quality Meeting) with the freight forwarding and customs brokerage contractors regularly
Conduct duet/Triplet meetings with end users and/or Cost Control and/or Warehouse Personnel regularly
Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor Degree, practical experience in Drilling/Petroleum Industry is an advantage
Experience:
A minimum of 4 years of international experience in procurement, good understanding of Drilling Services or petroleum field operations.
Hands on experience on procurement systems (SAP, on-line procurement tools,..etc)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
