The Project Officer - Community Action to Address Economic Vulnerabilities project (CAP) is responsible for implementing and monitoring the activities of the CAP project in the assigned districts. The Project Officer will work closely with the Project Manager, the District Local Governments, and the community groups to ensure that the project objectives are achieved.
The Project Officer will also provide technical support and guidance to the community groups on issues related to livelihoods, income generation, savings and credit, and social protection.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Economics, or a related field, with at least three years of experience in implementing community-based projects.
The candidate should also have excellent communication, facilitation, and report writing skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The candidate should be fluent in English and at least one local language spoken in the project area. The candidate should also be willing to travel frequently and work under challenging conditions.
