Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of the project's annual work and operational plans.
Facilitate Training of Trainers (TOT) for community counselors to provide psychosocial support to peers.
Train frontline women on alternative livelihood strategies and equip them with startup kits.
Deliver leadership and advocacy training to frontline women and local leaders.
Raise awareness among women, youth, partners, and both state and non-state actors regarding regional and national frameworks.
Provide technical assistance and conduct regular monitoring visits to strengthen the capacity of community groups in engaging women in peace-building efforts.
Lead participatory review and reflection meetings with partners, community members, and stakeholders.
Maintain detailed documentation of all project activities, including minutes of discussions and resolutions made.
Collaborate with the M&E team to facilitate mentoring and peer learning sessions, ensuring timely use of monitoring tools.
Work with the LRP team to conduct quarterly field observations in the project area.
Mobilize rural women to form a unified group for advocacy in women, peace, security, and transitional justice campaigns.
Submit detailed activity reports, including corresponding attachments, and monthly progress reports related to project outputs and outcomes as per the annual plan.
Engage with government institutions, development partners, and community members.
Participate in coordination meetings with other agencies and government stakeholders, particularly on land rights and related issues.
Collaborate with project staff in other fields and locations for knowledge exchange and mutual learning.
Represent the organization in local, national, and regional networks focused on the women, peace, and security agenda when required.
Work closely with the Programme Manager for Women’s Rights and Governance and the Programme Manager for Partnership and Local Rights Program Coordination

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Law, Development Studies, Conflict Resolution, Peace Studies, Gender Studies, Human Rights, Social Science, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
Strong facilitation skills, particularly for community-based training and workshops.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated decision-making abilities, particularly in project management and problem-solving.
Strong planning, organizational, and implementation skills.
Proficiency in analyzing community needs and providing sustainable, community-driven solutions.
Skilled in report writing and documentation, with meticulous attention to detail.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential.
Proven ability to mobilize communities and engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience, ideally within the NGO sector.
Familiarity with social, cultural, and regional contexts.
Experience in capacity building, monitoring, and evaluating community-level initiatives.
