Job Description
As a Project Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of trade marketing projects. You will oversee planning, coordination, and implementation of campaigns in various regions, ensuring they align with client goals and brand standards. You will supervise field teams, manage retail partnerships, monitor budgets and timelines, and provide actionable insights and reports to stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centric environment. Experience in GT or MT, team supervision, and trade execution is key to success in this position.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the full project lifecycle for General Trade (GT) or Modern Trade (MT) campaigns.
Coordinate with internal departments, clients, and retail stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Supervise field teams, including merchandisers and promoters.
Monitor campaign budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
Ensure compliance with brand standards and retail requirements.
Prepare and deliver weekly reports, analysis, and insights to stakeholders.
Identify and address issues that may affect project performance.
Foster strong client and partner relationships.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Project Management, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in trade marketing, FMCG sales, or retail promotions.
Proven ability to manage field operations and project execution.
Strong understanding of GT (wholesalers, kiosks, independent retailers) and/or MT (supermarkets, hypermarkets, key accounts).
Excellent communication, organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other project management tools.
