Job Description
The Product Marketing Specialist will work cross-functionally with the Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to lead go-to-market strategies. This includes developing product positioning and messaging, conducting market and competitor research, creating compelling product narratives, and supporting the execution of campaigns that communicate product value to target audiences. The role is ideal for a professional with strong storytelling skills and experience in the SaaS or technology space.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform positioning.
Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment in product messaging.
Translate technical product features into customer-centric value propositions.
Create compelling product content, including brochures, web content, and sales enablement tools.
Drive product awareness and adoption through targeted campaigns.
Support customer education initiatives and facilitate product training.
Analyze marketing data and report on performance using BI and analytics tools.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education (Essential):
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Commerce, or a related field
Education (Desirable):
Certification in Product Marketing Management (CPMM), Digital Marketing, or Project Management
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or the technology/software industry
Experience with market research, competitor analysis, and campaign development
Cross-functional collaboration experience
Experience in training facilitation
Project or campaign management experience (desirable)
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong storytelling and content creation skills
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts
Proficient in CRM, marketing automation, and BI/reporting tools
Effective copywriting and communication abilities
