Job Description
The Product Designer will support the lead designer in developing and improving the voice and video experience on Discord. They will work on the end-to-end product development process, from brainstorming and creating wireframes and prototypes to implementing designs. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the product meets user needs and is of the highest quality. Additionally, they will contribute to maintaining and evolving the Design System library, ensuring consistency and quality across all products. The role involves testing and iterating on designs to refine the product experience, contributing to the development of features used by millions of users worldwide.

How to Apply
Support a lead designer in creating an ecosystem for voice and video experiences
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other peers on user experience
Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for product features
Ensure high-quality execution of designs with attention to detail

2+ years of experience in designing consumer-focused products
Proficient in Figma and high-fidelity prototyping tools (e.g., Protopie, Framer)
Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in both desktop and mobile design
Frequent personal use of Discord and passion for gaming
Ability to communicate ideas through various formats (documents, prototypes, presentations)
Strong collaboration skills, able to guide product vision through design explorations
Ownership mindset with a focus on progress and growth
Experience working with design systems
