BACKGROUND Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) is a public Authority established by an Act of Parliament mandated to regulate, promote and oversee the quality of coffee along the entire value chain, support research and development, promote production, and improve the marketing of coffee to optimize earnings for coffee stakeholders and the country.
UCDA's Vision is 'An Inclusive, Transformative and Sustainable Coffee Industry' and its mission is "To increase quality coffee production, productivity, value addition, marketing and consumption". Its core values are; Client focus, Teamwork, Integrity and Professionalism.
In order to achieve its mandate, UCDA is desirous of recruiting a motivated and competent individual to fill the position of Procurement Manager.

MINIMUM EDUCATION
Honors Bachelor's Degree in Procurement / Purchasing and Supplies, or Business Administration (with a bias in Procurement and Supplies), or Commerce (with a bias in Procurement and Supplies),
Full professional qualification in Supply Chain Management (CIPS) from a recognized Institution,
A Master's degree in either Supply Chain Management or, Business Administration or Management discipline is a requirement, 4. Membership of a recognized professional body in Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
A minimum of seven (7) years of working experience in procurement and supply chain management of which three (3) must have been gained at Principal or Middle management level in Government or from a reputable organization, OR must have worked as a Procurement Specialist for a Donor Funded Project for at least five (5) Years.
