Arrange the poles onto trolleys in preparation for treatment.

Open and close the treatment plant doors before and after the treatment process.

Participate in pouring creosote oil into the tank (from the drums).

Fetching creosote oil from the reserve basin back to the cylinder vessel.

Assist the Machine Operator while carrying out minor repairs.

Cut (trim) the poles to appropriate length before treatment.

Carry out daily cleaning within and around the treatment plant.

Participate in the stacking of both seasoned and treated poles

Identify risks in the section and devise mechanisms of mitigating them.

Prepare monthly and annual reports on sectional activities in accordance with UEDCL policies and procedures.
