Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality standards.

  • Develop and implement production schedules, optimize workflow, and manage resources to meet production targets.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage a team of supervisors, engineers, technicians, and production staff.

  • Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and ensure effective communication across departments.


Budget & Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the plant's budget, including cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.

  • Optimize operational costs, manage inventory levels, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.


Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.

  • Implement and maintain quality control systems, conduct inspections, and address any quality issues.


Health & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Develop and enforce safety protocols, conduct safety training, and lead safety audits.


Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency enhancements.

  • Implement lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement initiatives, and best practices.

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, industrial management, or a related field is typically required. An advanced degree, such as an MBA, can be advantageous.


Experience:

  • Several years of experience in manufacturing or industrial management, with a proven track record in leadership and operations management.

  • Experience in a specific industry or with particular types of products may be required.


Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment.

  • Proficiency in production planning, quality control, and lean manufacturing techniques.


Leadership & Management Skills:

  • Strong leadership abilities, including team management, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees, management, suppliers, and customers.


Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies for improvement.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and optimize processes.
