Position Title: Personal Assistant to the General Manager

Job Summary
Marriott Hotels is seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant to the General Manager. This role is responsible for providing high-level administrative and coordination support to the General Manager and leadership team, ensuring smooth communication, timely reporting, and exceptional service delivery for both internal and external stakeholders.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Administrative & Reporting Support
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and internal documents.
Attend and transcribe meeting minutes for executive and departmental meetings.
Organize, maintain, and archive documentation and filing systems.
Support in managing donation records, reservations, and giveaway requests.
Correspondence & Communication
Draft and distribute official correspondence on behalf of the General Manager.
Manage departmental phone lines and act as the primary point of contact for calls and inquiries.
Greet and support visitors, employees, and guests on behalf of the GM.
Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail.
Customer Service Excellence
Ensure high standards of service in every interaction to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaborate with internal teams to address concerns and improve service quality.
Follow up on VIP amenity requests and ensure timely execution.
Additional Duties
Act on behalf of the GM with delegated authority when needed.
Promote and communicate safety protocols and ensure compliance across departments.
Support planning and coordination of meetings, projects, and team initiatives.
Maintain timely updates and clear communication with executives and peers.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
Option 1: High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of experience in administrative support or related fields.OR
Option 2: 2-year degree in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field (no prior experience required).
Desired Skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
