Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH)
Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH) is a grassroots Ugandan-based NGO and non-profit organization founded in 2003. We promote biodiversity conservation by enabling people, gorillas, and other wildlife to coexist through improving their health and community livelihoods in and around protected areas in Africa.
Oversee and manage the daily running of the CEO’s office.
Manage, coordinate, and prioritize the CEO’s schedule and calendar to maximize time efficiency.
Manage the CEO’s internal and external correspondence.
Manage and create content for the CEO’s social media platforms.
Ensure timely and professional management of the organization’s affiliated websites.
Provide overall background support to the CEO during public engagements.
Coordinate media engagements, including interviews and written requests.
Oversee and coordinate meetings and other events.
Take minutes, transcribe documents, and maintain organization of files.
Coordinate and manage vendors and contractors.
B.A. in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Media Arts/Communication Design, or any related field.
At least 3 years relevant work experience.
Professional experience in social media management.
Professional working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and/or Mac OS.
Excellent English language (written and verbal).
Excellent organizational skills.
Able to work independently and with high level of interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Flexible and willing to work extra time and be on call during weekends and after business hours.
