Job Description
The Parish Chiefs are responsible for coordinating and supervising the implementation of government policies, programs and projects at the parish level.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Parish Chiefs are responsible for coordinating and supervising the implementation of government policies, programs and projects at the parish level.
They also act as the link between the sub-county and the village councils, and provide administrative and technical guidance to the village chairpersons.
The Parish Chiefs are expected to monitor and report on the performance of service delivery, security, revenue collection, community mobilization and conflict resolution in their respective parishes.
They also facilitate the participation of the parishioners in planning, budgeting and decision making processes at the sub-county level.
