Job Description
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing service delivery, administrative operations, customer relationship management, inventory control, and team coordination. This role requires strong leadership, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to develop efficient systems and procedures to optimize operations. The successful candidate must have experience in spa, salon, or wellness center environments and be capable of managing multiple functions simultaneously while maintaining high service standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain customer accounts and client relationships
Oversee service sales and treatment administration
Supervise hair technicians and delegate tasks
Monitor and ensure quality control in service delivery
Develop and implement systems and procedures to enhance efficiency
Enforce adherence to internal policies and maintain team discipline
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff
Act as liaison between clients and technicians
Manage inventory and coordinate procurement processes
Organize staff rosters based on business demand and peak periods
Oversee maintenance of facility and equipment, including contractor supervision
Ensure the spa/salon is clean, hygienic, and well-maintained
Track and evaluate employee performance
Process client payments and monitor financial inflows
Support execution of marketing events, pop-ups, and promotional campaigns
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leadership or operations management roles
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related IT solutions
Basic bookkeeping knowledge
Knowledge of clinic, spa, or salon operations is an added advantage
