Job Description
This role includes overseeing the upkeep and compliance of office facilities, coordinating with service providers and vendors, providing basic IT troubleshooting and support, managing office consumables, and offering administrative and marketing assistance. The incumbent will maintain communication with internal teams, ensure health and safety compliance, support procurement, and contribute to the coordination of signage and events. Occasional travel between branches will be required, and a proactive, resourceful attitude is essential.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Facilities and Coordination
Supervise daily facilities operations, including cleaning, repairs, and security
Ensure compliance with safety, signage, and fire safety regulations
Liaise with contractors and vendors for scheduled and ad hoc maintenance
Update the asset register and assist with site inspections
IT Support
Provide first-line support for minor IT issues
Coordinate with Managed Service Provider (MSP) for escalated IT matters
Maintain IT inventory and software logs
Oversee LAN, printers, and IT infrastructure
Monitor backup and cybersecurity compliance
Administrative & Budget Support
Assist with budget tracking and ordering of consumables
Maintain audit-ready documentation for compliance
Support procurement of office equipment and services
Marketing & Design Support
Collect content for marketing (photos, event notes, etc.)
Edit and resize marketing materials
Coordinate installation of signage and support event setups
Assist with social media scheduling
General Support & Ad Hoc Tasks
Provide direct assistance to the Brand & Facilities Manager
Handle various administrative and operational tasks as assigned
Escalate unresolved issues and ensure timely follow-up
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education (Minimum)
National Senior Certificate (Matric)
Experience
1–3 years’ experience in facilities management, office administration, or IT support
Exposure to vendor management and multi-branch support
Skills and Knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Basic understanding of IT systems (LAN, printers, backups)
Familiarity with safety and compliance standards
Proficiency in Afrikaans is essential
Valid driver’s license and own transport preferred
Willingness to travel between branches
