To perform physical examinations, order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies, prescribe medications and therapies, and refer patients to specialists when needed.

To educate and counsel patients and their families on preventive health measures, immunizations, nutrition, hygiene, safety, etc.

To participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, continuing education programs, and professional development activities.

To collaborate with other health care professionals, such as nurses, pharmacists, social workers, etc., to ensure coordinated and holistic care for the patients.
