Job Description
The Medical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for receiving and preparing patient samples, conducting routine diagnostic tests, and ensuring laboratory hygiene. The role requires a strong commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards to support efficient and reliable laboratory operations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Receive and log patient samples accurately.
Prepare samples for testing following proper protocols.
Conduct diagnostic laboratory tests using approved methods.
Maintain cleanliness of laboratory and reception areas.
Follow safety and infection control procedures at all times.
Report test results accurately and on time.
Maintain laboratory equipment and report any malfunction.
Assist in inventory management of lab supplies.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
OND in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
1–5 years of relevant work experience.

Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
Must be dependable and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
