Position: Media Content Editor
Location: Uganda / East Africa (Remote)

We are hiring a Media Content Editor to join our growing administrative team. This is a newly created role focused on transforming raw media—video, photos, and other content—into compelling stories across social and traditional media platforms. If you're skilled in digital content creation and love bringing brands to life online, we want to hear from you.
Edit and produce content from raw video, images, and other media formats
Create attention-grabbing content tailored for various social media platforms
Write or refine copy to accompany multimedia content
Collaborate with our team remotely and attend daily check-in meetings
Deliver high-quality content that highlights client stories and impact

Minimum 2 years of experience editing content for social media
Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Reliable high-speed internet connection
Own computer, smartphone, editing software, and communication tools (microphone/headphones)
Additional Details
Remote position (must be based in Uganda or East Africa)
Must be available to work at least 20 hours/week between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time (U.S.), with a total of 40 hours/week
Daily team check-ins required
Follows the U.S. holiday schedule
Candidates outside the U.S. will be hired as independent contractors
You may hold other jobs or side gigs
Salary range: UGX 600,000 – UGX 900,000 per month
