Job Description
The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director to drive marketing efforts by identifying and engaging prospective clients, promoting services, and negotiating sales. This role involves fieldwork, relationship management, and use of automated systems to track client interactions. The position is commission-based but comes with additional benefits such as transportation and lunch during working hours.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Negotiate prices and terms of sales or service agreements
Visit establishments to evaluate client needs and promote services
Sell service contracts for technical products
Maintain customer records using automated systems
Respond to customer inquiries about product availability, pricing, and credit terms
Reach out to new and existing clients to identify their service needs
Estimate customer installation or service costs and highlight potential savings
Demonstrate the use of technical or scientific products as needed

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma in Marketing and Sales or related field
Experience:
1–2 years in a marketing or sales role
Key Skills:
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Social perceptiveness and critical thinking
Proficiency in English and Luganda
Knowledge of sales, customer service, and administration
Familiarity with computer systems and electronics
Preferred Competencies:
Complex problem-solving
Decision-making and time management
Basic knowledge of mathematics and production processes
