Job Description
The Manager - Software Engineering will report to the Senior Manager - IT Engineering and be responsible for managing MTN’s software design and planning processes. This includes leading the software engineering team, defining and optimizing delivery processes, implementing cloud-native scalable platforms, and ensuring high-quality software product development. The role will also include coaching team members, setting performance benchmarks, and ensuring solutions align with business and technology roadmaps.

A first degree from a reputable institution.
Fluent in English.
6–13 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Experience in cloud services, APIs, AI, and software development.
Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology.
Proficiency with C#.Net Core, Angular, React, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Docker, etc.
Experience with automated quality assurance in SDLC.
Proven track record in new product/service development and delivery.
Ability to translate complex technology into practical business solutions.
