Job Description
The Management Trainee will be responsible for:
Identifying non-compliance with company policies and making recommendations for improvement.
Assisting in fostering a strong compliance culture through training and reporting.
Conducting reviews and audits of MOGAS operations and inventory locations.
Reviewing business processes for compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Submitting weekly progress reports on transactions made outside the ERP accounting system.
Monitoring HR processes in line with the HR Handbook and company policies.
Assisting with internal and external fraud investigations.
Training and mentoring staff to strengthen governance, risk, and compliance measures.
Conducting reconciliations for OpCos and intercompany accounts.
Following up on audit findings and ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Execute assigned tasks with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
Identify and report compliance issues, providing actionable recommendations.
Ensure corrective actions are implemented on time.
Support fraud detection and prevention efforts.
Participate in stock counts and reconciliations for intercompany transactions.
Assist in audit follow-ups and ensure outstanding issues are addressed.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
Competencies & Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong report writing and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently with a proactive approach.
