Job Description
Reporting to the Literacy Boost Coordinator, the Literacy Boost Facilitator will oversee the planning and implementation of project activities, provide technical support to schools and education stakeholders, and build the capacity of PTAs, SMCs, SGACs, and volunteers. The facilitator will liaise with district education offices and MINEDUC to align project activities with government priorities, ensure accountability through MEAL systems, and contribute to resource mobilization efforts. This role also requires significant field presence to ensure effective delivery and integration of literacy methodologies into the school feeding program.

How to Apply
Plan and implement project activities through relevant models, ensuring integration with cross-cutting themes.
Liaise with district-level stakeholders and integrate project activities with government education plans.
Mobilize and train PTAs, SMCs, SGACs, DEOs, SEOs, volunteers, and other actors on literacy and improved education methodologies.
Develop and disseminate training manuals, guidelines, and tools to support education delivery.
Support MEAL processes including monitoring, reporting, and adaptation of tools.
Produce accurate and timely reports for World Vision, WFP, government, and stakeholders.
Contribute to developing concept notes and funding proposals.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education (Languages), Pedagogy, or Social Sciences. (HEC equivalence certificate required for foreign degrees).
Experience: Minimum 2 years in education projects with strong knowledge of pedagogy and community development.
Background in instructional approaches, classroom organization, and learning material development.
Strong project management and communication skills (oral and written).
Must hold a valid motorcycle riding license.
Preferred: Strong negotiation and networking skills, experience in proposal development, and engagement with education sector stakeholders.
Languages: Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda (spoken and written).
