Job Description
The Light Duty Auto Mechanics will perform technical inspections, diagnose engine issues, repair or replace malfunctioning vehicle components, and ensure that all work complies with safety and industry standards. The role demands proficiency with diagnostic tools, mechanical systems, and workshop practices, as well as teamwork and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct accurate diagnostics on light-duty vehicle engines to identify mechanical issues.
Repair or replace defective or worn-out vehicle parts and systems.
Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively to assess and repair issues.
Service and maintain vehicles in accordance with industry standards.
Handle breakdown repairs of vehicles as needed.
Follow workshop safety, cleanliness, and organizational protocols.
Collaborate with team members and follow supervisors' instructions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and report issues promptly.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
WASSCE, NABTEX, or HND in Automobile Engineering.
Experience:
2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in repairing and servicing light-duty vehicles.

Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
