We are glad to introduce our internship programme that is designed for individuals who are looking to work in a dynamic global organization. The programme comprises of functional projects which the intern will be assigned over a period of 1 year. Along with accomplishing challenging tasks every day, the intern will receive coaching from the assignment / line manager through a structured plan and defined set of deliverables, to grow both business and leadership capabilities.

  • Legal Research: Conduct research on legal issues relevant to the organization's operations, such as regulatory compliance, contract law, intellectual property rights, and employment law. Compile findings into reports or summaries for review by legal counsel.

  • Document Review: Assist with reviewing and analyzing legal documents, contracts, agreements, policies, and other materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Drafting Documents: Support the drafting and preparation of legal documents, including contracts, memoranda, policies, and correspondence. This may involve drafting initial versions based on templates or assisting in revisions.

  • Case Support: Provide administrative support to legal counsel in ongoing cases, including organizing documents, maintaining case files, scheduling meetings, and preparing materials for hearings or depositions.

  • Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring regulatory developments and changes in laws affecting the organization's operations. Help ensure compliance with legal requirements by tracking deadlines, updating policies, and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Support the organization's external affairs activities by assisting with stakeholder engagement initiatives, including communicating with government agencies, industry associations, community groups, and advocacy organizations.

  • Policy Analysis: Analyze proposed legislation, regulations, and public policies that may impact the organization. Prepare summaries or briefs outlining potential implications and recommendations for action.

  • Corporate Governance: Assist in maintaining corporate governance records, including board meeting minutes, resolutions, and compliance documentation. Support the organization's compliance with corporate governance standards and best practices.

  • Event Coordination: Help organize and coordinate events, meetings, and conferences related to legal and external affairs activities. This may include logistical planning, coordinating speakers, preparing materials, and managing invitations.

  • Communication Support: Assist with drafting and editing external communications, press releases, website content, and social media posts related to legal and external affairs issues. Ensure messaging aligns with organizational goals and policies.

  • Training and Education: Participate in training sessions and educational programs to develop knowledge and skills in legal and external affairs areas. This may include attending seminars, webinars, or workshops on relevant topics.

  • Special Projects: Contribute to special projects or initiatives as assigned by legal counsel or external affairs staff. This could involve conducting research, analyzing data, preparing presentations, or assisting with strategic planning efforts.

  • We expect you to have graduated from the university within the last 1 year. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, dependable and with a can-do attitude; open minded, collaborative, willing to learn and share ideas.

  • You will need to be an excellent communicator and creative thinker, with attention to detail and the ability to use creative storytelling – written, visual and verbal – through integrated communications platforms.

  • You must have a Bachelor’s Degree in PPE (Politics, Philosophy, Economics); Economics & Finance, Politics & Economics or; Political Science.

  • Having business and contextual acumen is also important for the role.

  • Interested applicants will have a chance to strive for development and contribute actively to the business through various projects in the function.
