Applications are invited from suitably qualified and interested candidates for the following post:
Teaching:
Course Delivery: Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in physical chemistry, including lectures, seminars, and laboratory sessions.
Curriculum Development: Develop and update course curricula, syllabi, and laboratory manuals to reflect current advancements in the field.
Student Assessment: Evaluate and assess students' academic performance through exams, assignments, lab reports, and projects.
Advising: Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, guiding them in their academic and career paths.
Lab Supervision: Design and supervise laboratory experiments, ensuring students gain practical skills and adhere to safety protocols.
Research:
Original Research: Conduct research in areas such as thermodynamics, kinetics, quantum chemistry, spectroscopy, and materials science.
Publications: Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic and scientific conferences.
Funding: Seek and obtain research funding through grants, fellowships, and industry collaborations.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, other departments, and external research institutions on interdisciplinary projects.
Student Research Supervision: Mentor and supervise undergraduate and graduate students in their research projects, theses, and dissertations.
Administrative Duties:
Departmental Meetings: Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
Committees: Serve on academic and administrative committees within the institution.
Accreditation: Assist in accreditation and quality assurance processes for the academic program.
Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in physical chemistry and educational methodologies.

Educational Qualifications:
Master’s Degree: A Master’s degree in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or a closely related field is typically required.
Doctoral Degree: A PhD in Physical Chemistry or a related discipline is often preferred.
Professional Experience:
Teaching Experience: Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level is highly desirable.
Research Experience: Demonstrated research experience in physical chemistry with a strong publication record in reputable journals.
Industry Experience: Experience in the chemical industry or research institutions can be beneficial, though not always required.
Skills and Competencies:
Subject Knowledge: Deep understanding of physical chemistry principles, theories, and applications.
Teaching Skills: Excellent teaching and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
Research Skills: Proficiency in designing and conducting research projects, including data analysis and interpretation.
Lab Skills: Expertise in laboratory techniques and safety protocols related to physical chemistry.
