Job Description
The IT Sales Executive will play a critical role in expanding Enov8's market presence. The ideal candidate will design and execute sales strategies, research market trends, and identify opportunities within the IT landscape. You will manage the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting to closing deals—while maintaining strong client relationships and collaborating with internal teams. The role involves setting sales goals, preparing forecasts, analyzing sales data, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Leadership in managing the performance and motivation of the sales team will also be key.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales plans to meet company revenue targets
Conduct market research and analyze competitors to identify industry trends and business opportunities
Align sales activities with company strategies and ensure individual and team targets are met
Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients
Create and manage a territory plan, tracking account activities and partner engagements
Document customer interactions and maintain accurate sales records
Analyze sales metrics to identify areas for growth and strategic improvement
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior leadership
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
Meet with clients regularly to understand evolving needs and provide solutions
Coach and manage the sales team to ensure professional development and performance goals are achieved
Monitor and evaluate team performance, implementing reward systems and recognition initiatives
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
Proven experience in IT sales or a similar role with a track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
Strong knowledge of the IT and software development industry
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to lead and motivate a sales team
Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
