Job Description
The Customer Experience Intern will be responsible for making outbound calls to existing Sage customers, resolving outstanding issues, and educating them on navigating contact channels like the IVR system and customer portals. The role includes administrative support, communication with internal teams, and gathering trends to enhance customer experience. Interns will gain valuable insight into customer operations and develop both technical and interpersonal skills.
This internship is hybrid, with three days per week in the Midrand office. The internship begins on 1st August 2025 and runs for 12 months.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Call and engage with Sage customers
Update internal systems and resolve outstanding account issues
Educate customers on available support tools and contact channels
Perform administrative tasks and credit queries
Deliver feedback on trends observed during customer interactions
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer resolutions
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Educational Requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (Essential)
Diploma or Degree (advantageous)
Skills and Competencies:
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong telephonic etiquette
Interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset
Knowledge of accounting, payroll, or HR environments (advantageous)
Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow
Clear criminal record
