Job Description
The Income Auditor will be responsible for auditing and verifying all sources of income generated by the hotel. This includes reviewing daily revenue transactions, reconciling POS and PMS systems, validating discounts and adjustments, and preparing daily revenue reports. The role involves ensuring compliance with internal control procedures and accounting standards while supporting month-end closings and audits. The successful candidate must possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and maintain strict confidentiality in financial reporting.

How to Apply
Audit daily revenue reports from departments such as Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Banquets.
Verify accuracy and completeness of revenue postings and ensure timely reporting.
Review and authorize voids, discounts, and other adjustments with appropriate documentation.
Reconcile data between Point-of-Sale (POS), Property Management System (PMS), and financial records.
Report and follow up on any discrepancies or irregularities.
Prepare and distribute Daily Revenue Reports to management.
Ensure all payment methods (cash, credit card, etc.) are properly recorded and reconciled.
Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting processes.
Support both internal and external financial audits.
Uphold confidentiality and integrity of all financial information.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3–10 years of relevant experience in income auditing or accounting, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with hotel systems like Opera and Micros is an added advantage.
Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
