Job Description
The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi in conjunction with the Aga Khan Health Service in Uganda seek to recruit the following positions to be based at our new Medical Center Nakawa in Kampala, Uganda.

Duties and Responsibilities
The ICT Support Engineer job at Aga Khan University Hospital is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a combination of technical skills, interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities. The main duties of the ICT Support Engineer are:
To provide technical support and troubleshooting for the hospital's ICT systems, including hardware, software, network, security and telecommunication devices.
To install, configure, maintain and upgrade the hospital's ICT equipment and software, ensuring compliance with the hospital's policies and standards.
To monitor and evaluate the performance and availability of the ICT systems, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
To liaise with external vendors and service providers, coordinating the delivery and installation of ICT products and services.
To train and assist the hospital staff in using the ICT systems and applications, ensuring optimal utilization and user satisfaction.
To document and report on the ICT activities, incidents and projects, maintaining accurate records and inventories.

Qualifications and Competencies
The qualifications of the ICT Support Engineer are:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least three years of experience in providing ICT support in a complex and dynamic environment, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proficient in various operating systems, applications, databases, network protocols and security tools.
Excellent communication, collaboration and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under pressure and with minimal supervision.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing needs.
