Head of Sales job at Future Options Consulting Ltd

Job Description

Manage sales initiative requests from the markets and working in collaboration with the sales managers to vet out and prioritize as appropriate.

Provide support to ensure sound risk management of commercial contracts, identify and escalate risks when appropriate, continually improve our market position and innovation through collaboration and prioritization of solutions (i.e. product development, sales strategies, tactics, value-added programs, etc.)

Performing a meaningful role in architecting, developing, and iterating data-centric analyses to improve efficiency across our customer experience-centered organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused on employee motivation and growth, financial growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.

  • Designs plans tied to budgets & strategies, performance data capture against targets, and payment execution.

  • Establish thoughtful and innovative strategies to increase operational efficiency and revenue generation.

  • Manage sales initiative requests from the markets and working in collaboration with the sales managers to vet out and prioritize as appropriate.

  • Provide support to ensure sound risk management of commercial contracts, identify and escalate risks when appropriate.

  • Continually improve our market position and innovation through collaboration and prioritization of solutions (i.e. product development, sales strategies, tactics, value-added programs, etc.)

  • Performing a meaningful role in architecting, developing, and iterating data-centric analyses to improve efficiency across our customer experience-centered organization.

  • Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts.

  • Lead the weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence of sales team activities including forecasting, pipeline generation, win/loss rates, quota attainment, planning, and opportunity management.

  • Support implementation of consultancy monitoring, evaluation, impact and learning.

  • Assist sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.

  • Providing clear monthly performance reports, collaborating with a range of people outside the Business Development Team to gather business intelligence.

  • Ensure regular catch-ups with Business Development and Retail Business Managers on new opportunities and compliance requirements.

  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.

  • Identify and maintain new contacts and networks relevant for business development and project identification.

  • Assess value for money and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

  • Collaborate with the Management teams to identify and secure partnerships, opportunities and calls for bids to generate revenue.

  • Manage the business budget.

  • Uphold all aspects of company policies and procedures and legal requirements in relation to personal conduct.

  • Any other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications and Competencies

  • A Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a bias in Marketing from a recognized institute.

  • A professionally recognized certificate in Marketing is an added advantage.

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field from a recognized institute.


Details of experience

  • At least 8 Years of proven working experience in a Sales and / or Marketing Managerial position or a relevant role.

  • Demonstrable experience in building long lasting, effective relationships with employees, customers and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Excellent Market knowledge in Furniture and Stationary Business

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate all levels of staff.

  • Able to work proactively to seek out new leads and business.

  • Commercially minded.

  • Advanced Report writing skills

  • Proven ability to work under pressure and with other people.

  • Experience around customer care and product management.

  • Time management and planning skills

  • He or she should be innovative

  • He or she is required to build and maintain quality relationships with employees, customers and stakeholders

  • He or she should be an experienced people manager, with strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
