Job Description

The role involves maintaining and updating CR department files, handling feedback and grievance logs, supporting the department's communication and reporting functions, and managing documentation via the GCR share portal. The officer will also be responsible for secretarial tasks such as minute-taking, drafting correspondence, filing, and tracking department budgets and petty cash. This position plays a key role in the facilitation of community events and ensures consistent reporting from field-based community relations activities.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update all active CR registers and logs, including issues and grievances, stakeholder meetings, employment and subcontract registers.

  • Manage the feedback/complaint process from reception to close-out and documentation.

  • Handle secretarial tasks: take minutes, draft memos, maintain filing systems, and follow up on action points.

  • Collate field reports from all project-based CR and base operations.

  • Administer the CR shared portal, ensuring live documents are updated and available.

  • Maintain the department’s impress account and manage budgets in SAP.

  • Assist in organizing and managing community events.

  • Carry out other CR-related administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • B.Sc. or HND in Secretarial Administration, Communications, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar secretarial or administrative role.

  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CorelDraw, and Publisher.

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
