Supervision and Leadership:
Supervise front desk staff, including receptionists, guest service agents, and concierge personnel.
Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of customer service and efficiency.
Set daily priorities, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance to ensure smooth operations.
Guest Services:
Greet guests upon arrival, check them in/out, and handle reservations or cancellations.
Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
Ensure guests receive personalized attention and assistance throughout their stay.
Reservations Management:
Manage room reservations, including processing bookings, modifications, and cancellations.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals and departures.
Monitor room availability and occupancy levels to maximize revenue and optimize room assignments.
Financial Management:
Handle cash and credit card transactions, process payments, and reconcile daily financial reports.
Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, charges, and payments.
Monitor and control expenses related to front office operations, such as office supplies and amenities.
Administrative Tasks:
Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining guest databases, filing paperwork, and preparing reports.
Oversee the maintenance of front desk equipment, including computers, printers, and phone systems.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Training and Development:
Conduct training sessions for front desk staff on customer service standards, property amenities, and reservation systems.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to help staff improve their skills and performance.
Communication and Coordination:
Serve as a liaison between front office staff and other hotel departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.
Coordinate with other supervisors and managers to address guest needs, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless guest experience.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Some employers may prefer candidates with a college degree in hospitality management or a related field.
Experience: Prior experience in a front desk or guest service role, with at least 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computerized reservation systems, property management software, and office productivity software (such as Microsoft Office).
Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve performance goals.
Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the hospitality industry.
Professionalism: Professional appearance and demeanor, with a positive attitude and a commitment to upholding the reputation of the hotel or resort.
