Financial Business Unit Account Manager job at Yusudi

The role of the Financial Business Unit Account Manager entails achieving and exceeding the company's annual revenue targets. This goal should be met by aligning customer budgets with the FBU sales plan. You will need to proactively collaborate with the technical team to identify and capitalize on opportunities in existing accounts. Moreover, you will also be responsible for winning back market share for Temenos T24 business.
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate confidence and sales expertise to prospects in non-T24 accounts. You are expected to devise innovative sales strategies to drive overall business objectives. Additionally, it is essential to maintain a strong market position by being aware of competitors and you must also maintain a strong relationship with existing customers and generate opportunities for Core banking products.
In summary, this role requires a proactive approach to business development, strategic sales planning, and customer relationship management in Uganda.

Sales and Business Development:

  • You will meet and exceed annual Software License revenue targets as assigned, and be accountable for developing and actualizing customer budgets.

  • You will prospect for new business opportunities and develop and grow the customer base through daily sales calls. Additionally, you will maintain a healthy pipeline of business opportunities for business continuity and growth.

  • You will win back market share and onboard new customers for the Temenos T24 business.

  • You will be responsible for understanding and aligning the customer’s internal buying process and budget with the FBU sales plan.

  • You will work in conjunction with the technical team to initiate and capitalize on opportunities in existing accounts.

  • You will be required to have the confidence, sales experience, and background to prospect in non-T24 accounts and bring out viable business opportunities and leads.

  • You will prepare and execute sales plans that will drive the company's overall business goals.

  • You will maintain a high level of competitor knowledge in terms of products, pricing, discounts, promotions, and sales volumes.


Customer Relationship Management and Market Penetration:

  • You will be tasked with promoting the Financial Business Unit's Core banking solution in the industry. To accomplish this, you'll need to have a high degree of market and industry knowledge in IT across financial sectors.

  • You will protect the installed base of existing customers and demonstrate your commitment to going to great lengths to safeguard all current or existing FBU customer relationships.

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in business development and account management, specifically in selling financial solutions to banks in Uganda

  • You have a strong track record of excellence in achieving sales targets.

  • You have a strong ability to penetrate new accounts and walk your way to the decision-makers.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline.


Nice to Haves:

  • You have experience selling core banking solutions
