Job Description

The Finance Clerk will be responsible for ensuring that financial data is accurately recorded, updated, and reconciled in line with company policies. This role involves entering financial transactions into the ERP or accounting system, verifying invoices and receipts, preparing spreadsheets for analysis, and assisting in the production of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports. The Finance Clerk will also maintain proper filing of finance documents, support cash flow monitoring, and ensure compliance with audit requirements. The role is integral to supporting the finance team in ensuring transparency, accuracy, and efficiency in financial operations.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • High School Certificate with at least a C+ overall grade.

  • C+ or above in Mathematics.

  • Certificate/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (advantageous).

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial data management.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good organizational and time-management skills.

  • Basic computer proficiency, particularly in spreadsheets (Excel).

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
