The Stimulating Agribusiness for Youth Employment Project Finance assistant will be based at the project regional office and reporting to the BAYE Project Acco Stant the job holder will play a significant role in strengthening of core p resources stems by ensuring proper accounting and reporting of project implements support the project finance team in areas of cashiering, records management and ensuring that financial procedures are accurately implemented in accordance with Heifer's policies and procedures.

She/He will support the project finance team in areas of cashiering, records management and ensuring that financial procedures are accurately implemented in accordance with Heifer's policies and procedures.
supporting the finance team in various tasks, such as preparing and processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, maintaining financial records, and assisting with audits.
A finance assistant also helps with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities, as well as ensuring compliance with Heifer's policies and procedures.
A finance assistant must have strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
A finance assistant should also have good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to Heifer's mission and values.

A finance assistant should be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, such as staff, donors, vendors, and auditors. They should also be able to write clear and concise financial documents and correspondence.
