Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing daily operational tasks and maintaining safety, health, environmental, and security protocols. Duties include daily surveillance of wells, optimization of production, equipment monitoring, routine maintenance support, shift handovers, sample collection, and participation in emergency response. The role also involves coordinating maintenance jobs and supporting well intervention operations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Execute daily operational plans and housekeeping
Attend daily toolbox and scheduled safety meetings
Monitor wells and equipment for optimization and reliability
Perform minor maintenance and act as Equipment Care Technician
Report safety system malfunctions and abnormal events
Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbook entries during shifts
Collect samples and conduct basic field laboratory tests
Report incidents and support emergency response activities
Coordinate maintenance based on predictive, preventive, and corrective plans
Communicate shift changes and operational updates clearly
Diagnose and report well issues, production rates, and conditions
Ensure wellhead and surface equipment readiness for intervention
Support Wellwork operations and maintain thorough diagnostics prior to intervention

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum of completed secondary education
15–20 years of relevant work experience as a Field Technician
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High standards of safety, health, and environmental awareness
Extensive experience with pipeline operations and equipment
Strong knowledge of emergency procedures and safety protocols
Familiarity with operational tools, project philosophy, and relevant design specs
Knowledge of applicable regulations and commercial agreements
