Enimiro Products Uganda Ltd having its brand name (Enimiro) is an agribusiness dealing in the purchasing, processing and exporting of vanilla, dried fruit, and Coffee. Enimiro has extension operations in Central, Eastern & Western Uganda.
We aim at doing business while positively influencing the lives and livelihoods of farmers around our various projects with modern farming techniques as well as promoting organic farming. We purchase directly from farmers and supply high quality products to an international customer base.
Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct on-site assessments and evaluations of products, processes, or systems to determine compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and certification requirements.
Documentation Review: Review documentation, records, and documentation related to products, processes, or systems to verify compliance with certification requirements. Ensure that all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
Quality Assurance: Provide guidance and support to clients or internal teams on quality assurance practices, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with certification standards and requirements.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant regulations, standards, and industry requirements related to certification in the field. Interpret and apply regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in all certification activities.
Client Communication: Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and certification authorities to provide updates on certification progress, address inquiries, and resolve issues or concerns related to certification requirements.
Training and Education: Provide training and education to clients or internal teams on certification standards, requirements, and best practices. Ensure that personnel are adequately trained to maintain compliance with certification standards.
Audit and Inspection Support: Assist clients in preparing for audits, inspections, or assessments by certification bodies or regulatory agencies. Provide guidance on documentation preparation, compliance verification, and audit readiness.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, or risk mitigation related to certification activities. Recommend and implement improvements to certification processes, documentation, or systems to enhance compliance and effectiveness.
Project Management: Manage certification projects from initiation to completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking. Ensure that certification activities are completed on time, within budget, and according to client requirements.
Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts, discrepancies, or non-compliance issues identified during certification activities. Work with clients, stakeholders, and certification authorities to resolve issues and achieve compliance with certification requirements.
Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to certification activities, findings, and outcomes. Prepare and submit reports to clients, stakeholders, or certification bodies as required.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the certification process. Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks, challenges, or obstacles that may impact certification activities or outcomes. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address risks and ensure successful certification.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with internal teams, including quality assurance, engineering, operations, and regulatory affairs, to ensure alignment and coordination of certification activities with organizational goals and objectives.
Professional Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, developments, and best practices related to certification in the field. Participate in professional development activities, training programs, and certification courses to enhance knowledge and skills.
Demonstrated knowledge with Organic and Fairtrade certification and associated requirements
At least 2 years' experience in supporting producers and processors to obtain & maintain Organic and Fairtrade certification
Reviewing the company's Internal Control System (ICS) manual and making actionable recommendations
Supporting the team to prepare for the annual certification audit
Conducting random spot checks of registered farmers to assess compliance to organic farming principles and practices
Conducting staff trainings on Organic & Fairtrade certification standards and principles
Reviewing all documentation before it is submitted to external certification bodies
