Female Office Assistant (Entry Level) job at CHERD Africa

Job Description

The Office Assistant will be responsible for managing office documentation, handling communication for the directors, coordinating appointments and schedules, liaising with field project officers, organizing reports for audits and monitoring purposes, maintaining office supply inventory, and offering general administrative support to the team. The successful candidate will be based in or around Oyarifa, Accra and should be proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of working efficiently in a team.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize office files and documents

  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails to Directors

  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars

  • Assist in preparing reports and organizing them for audit and monitoring

  • Liaise with project officers in the field to enhance operational effectiveness

  • Order office supplies and manage inventory levels

  • Provide general administrative support to the team

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Education:

  • Senior High School Certificate or a post-secondary qualification (HND, Diploma, or Degree)

Experience & Skills:

  • Good organizational and time management abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be female and a resident of Madina, Adenta, or Oyarifa areas

Personal Attributes:

  • Friendly, professional demeanor

  • Willingness to learn and grow professionally

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
