Job Description

The Factory Quality Specialist will provide technical support in quality management, working closely with factory teams to ensure adherence to Nestlé Quality Management Systems (NQMS) and international standards. This role includes promoting quality awareness, updating quality procedures, delivering specialized training, conducting audits, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The specialist plays a key role in ensuring product safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction through proactive quality assurance measures.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Promote quality awareness and contribute to developing quality competence across teams

  • Define, update, and implement quality procedures, instructions, and tools in specialized areas

  • Support Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) efforts, including root cause analysis and defect prevention

  • Ensure compliance with Nestlé Quality Management System (NQMS) and applicable regulations

  • Deliver training related to specific areas of expertise such as HACCP, hygiene, auditing, and food safety

  • Conduct internal audits and verify that quality systems deliver the intended results

  • Participate in or lead improvement projects, audits, and network collaborations

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Food Science or related field)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar quality assurance role

  • Hands-on experience in factory quality systems or production support

  • Previous involvement in project teams, audits, or change initiatives

  • Proven ability to implement quality assurance programs

  • Experience in working across functions and building peer networks

Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, auditing, hygiene, pest control, and statistical process control

  • Proficiency in quality system implementation and continuous improvement

  • Ability to deliver training and promote quality culture within the organization

  • Analytical thinking and root cause problem-solving

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
