Job Description
The Facilities Supervisor will manage the maintenance and upkeep of office facilities, coordinate services and contractors, and supervise onsite staff. The role includes managing leases, repairs, equipment, and motor vehicles. The incumbent will ensure health, safety, and security compliance, handle administration, monitor vendors and service providers, and oversee the day-to-day functioning of the Facilities team. This role also plays a key part in contributing to the Fund’s Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) program and risk mitigation efforts.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Facilities Management
Maintain job lists and registers for all services and service providers
Log and track service requests, report faults, and follow up on maintenance resolution
Monitor and supervise cleaning and minor repair activities
Recommend cost-effective service provider procurement
Coordinate office moves and renovations
Manage leases and rental payments
Maintain furniture, equipment, and vehicles
Oversee disposal of assets per policy
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities management
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
Competencies
Knowledge of OSHACT and safety standards
Understanding of national building regulations
Strong administrative, supplier management, and project management skills
Basic computer literacy and commercial acumen
Familiarity with security processes and facilities systems
