Job Description
The Entry-Level ICT Officer will play a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations within the company. Responsibilities include providing first-level technical support, assisting with hardware and software installations, monitoring basic network setups, and supporting IT security and compliance. The officer will work collaboratively with other departments, documenting activities, and participating in training sessions to enhance their skills.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Assist in resolving basic hardware, software, and network issues.
Provide first-level user support and respond to help desk requests.
Hardware & Software Support:
Assist in installing and setting up IT equipment like computers and printers.
Support software updates and perform basic configurations.
Network Assistance:
Monitor internet connectivity and assist with basic network setups.
Learn and support the operation of routers, switches, and VPNs.
IT Security & Compliance:
Follow IT policies and support data backup routines.
Learn to enforce IT security measures.
Documentation & Learning:
Maintain records of support activities and IT assets.
Participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Team Collaboration:
Work with other departments to understand and support their IT needs.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
1–2 years of relevant work experience.
Competencies:
Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, and networking.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
Previous internship or NYSC experience in IT support (an added advantage).
