Enrolled Nurse job at Kaabong District Local Government

Kaabong District Service Commission

They work under the supervision of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient care, administer treatments, and assist with medical procedures.

Patient Care:

  • Assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.

  • Monitoring patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.


Medication Administration:

  • Administering medications orally, intravenously, intramuscularly, or via other routes as prescribed by physicians or advanced practice providers.

  • Ensuring medication safety by verifying patient identity, dosage accuracy, and administration technique.


Treatment and Procedures:

  • Assisting with medical procedures, diagnostic tests, and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.

  • Providing support during wound care, dressing changes, catheterization, and other invasive procedures.
