Ecosystems Manager job at Dfcu Bank

Job Description

Reporting to the Head- Ecosystems and Partnerships, the role holder will be charged with creating and implementing client-focused solutions with diverse and agile teams, leveraging partnerships and platforms within the Bank’s prioritized sector ecosystems.

The role holder will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, commercialise and scale solutions that go beyond the realms of traditional banking.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and implement innovative solutions that enhance customer value, generate new revenue streams, and disrupt existing markets by leveraging technology and ecosystems.

  • Explore new possibilities and opportunities in existing products, services, and businesses by adopting a non-traditional approach to ecosystem roles and dynamics.

  • Build a diverse portfolio of platform businesses that address customer needs in various ecosystems, rather than focusing on single products.

  • Forge strong connections and partnerships with key stakeholders in the customer ecosystem to optimise dfcu’s competitive edge and value propositions.

  • Execute the ecosystem vision in selected sectors and value chains, by connecting partners, producers, and customers through dfcu and partner platforms, scaling our sphere of impact.

  • Analyze business and use cases, converting customer needs and business opportunities into clear requirements, such as epics and story maps.

  • Track and grow ecosystem users and revenue using KPIs and optimise partnerships and business performance to meet goals.

  • Manage gate processes to select and advance the best solutions and discard the rest.

  • Lead the internal ecosystem and platform strategy and support cross functional teams including data analytics, digital transformation, product management.

  • Drive customer and partner discussions to deliver messaging/alignment on ecosystem value, feasibility, and scope.

  • Proactively evaluate new market and partnership opportunities, as well as emerging technologies.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with a bias in Business studies or Commerce.

  • Six- eight (6-8) years’ experience in Digital Innovation, Product Manager or Owner, Ecosystems.

  • Digital Innovation and Digital Customer Experience certification desired.

  • Good knowledge in Product Management and Solution Development.

  • Project and Partnership Management experience.

  • Ability to run a successful business, create value for customers and shareholders, analyze investment opportunities, and collaborate and partner with others.

  • Experience in managing, pricing, positioning, implementing, scaling, and marketing platforms in various domains/sectors.

  • Proficient in using the latest technologies such as AI, ML, Robotics, Blockchain, API & Open Banking.

  • Can manage complex and diverse solutions from start to finish, allocate resources, prioritize tasks, ensure quality, and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledgeable about security, privacy, and risk issues related to customer data & IP, and you can prevent and detect fraud, cyber-crime, and comply with all laws.

  • Curious, adaptable, and analytical in a dynamic and uncertain environment.

  • Customer focused, resourceful, and comfortable with making critical decisions in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.

  • Ready to roll-up their sleeves, identify future needs, and dive into challenges.

  • Empathetic and insightful with customer data and ambitions.

  • Passionate about creating personalized, engaging, and human digital experiences and communities.

  • Credible with key stakeholders such as Risk, Relationship Managers, and Business Operations.

  • Skilled at developing relationships, alliances, and partnerships with key players internally and externally.

  • Effective at solving different problems by defining them abstractly and using sound theory.

  • Visionary and long-term oriented by identifying trends.

  • Clear about the impact of internal and external factors on the organisation.

  • Facilitative or catalytic of change by questioning assumptions, challenging views, and arguing perspectives.

  • Quick and responsible at making decisions under pressure and definite about views and opinions.

  • Open to learning, efficient at learning rate, and developing relevant expertise for the organisation’s goals.

  • Accepting of challenges and change and coping well with uncertainty; Energetic, initiative-taking, and action oriented.
