Job Description
As a Freelance Mentor, you will provide one-on-one and group mentorship to budding data analysts, helping them develop technical expertise in tools such as Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI, and more. Beyond technical training, you’ll teach essential freelancing skills including personal branding, client acquisition, proposal writing, and gig sourcing. You will support mentees in securing remote freelance work, achieving an earning benchmark, and building sustainable freelance careers. You will also actively track mentees' progress, provide feedback, and report outcomes to the Freelance Mentoring Coordinator.

Conduct regular individual and group mentorship sessions
Teach data analysis tools: Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI, MongoDB, Linux, and AI technologies
Instill freelancing business skills such as time management, proposal writing, client handling, and online presence building
Guide mentees in personal branding and using platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and LinkedIn
Source freelance gigs through personal networks and online platforms
Support mentees to achieve monthly income goals of $100–$180+
Inspire and coach mentees on long-term career growth and global competitiveness
Monitor, evaluate, and report on mentees' technical and freelancing progress

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Required:
Proven freelancing experience in data analysis with successful project delivery
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI, AI, and Big Data tools
Strong understanding of the global freelance economy and client engagement
Mentorship experience or a strong passion for coaching others
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse learners
Preferred:
Experience mentoring or coaching in a remote setting
Familiarity with both Ghanaian and global freelance markets
Certifications in tools like Google Data Analytics, Tableau, etc.
Knowledge of online teaching tools and learning management systems
